We have arrived at another stop (the fifth with Follesa) of the Autunno in Barbagia event!
This time we are going to one of the symbolic villages of cold and snow in Sardinia, the beautiful town of Fonni, home of:
- the famous Bruncu Spina
- Monte Spada
- the characteristic mountain houses
- the ‘Scandulas’, the archaic wooden tiles.
Fonni and its ‘Murals
Among the intricate streets of the historical centre, one can then encounter the beautiful ‘Murales’ on which scenes of daily life, present or past, and representations of the most heartfelt traditions of the inhabitants are illustrated.
This will be a wonderful festive occasion, spread over the long bridge of the Immaculate Conception, with a rich programme and activities involving traditions, flavours, sounds, places, typical of Sardinia, made even more magical by the Christmas atmosphere along the streets of the town, as Christmas approaches… and maybe right under this bridge it will peep, the snow, as beautiful as it is suggestive!
